Job Title: AZ/DZ Driver – Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Driver to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy trucks to transport materials, and aggregates to and from construction sites while maintaining a high standard of safety, professionalism, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate AZ or DZ class vehicles safely and efficiently (dump trucks, tri-axles, tractor-trailers, etc.)
  • Transport construction materials such as asphalt, gravel, soil, equipment, and debris
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logbooks
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
  • Follow all company policies, Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations, and safety procedures
  • Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum 3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles (construction experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of MTO regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to work long hours, early mornings, and weekends as required
  • Physically capable of climbing in/out of trucks
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
