Company Background:

Associated Paving and Material Ltd. is a Municipal, Industrial and Residential construction Company specializing road construction. Our services include Asphalt Paving, Concrete works, Excavation and Grading.

Responsibilities:

Direct & oversee construction projects from start to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and road construction regulations.
Prepare internal and external reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates and deliverables.
Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual obligations.
Review project requirements to determine and organize work, equipment, and labor requirements. Interpret project specification and develop/apply change orders/daily work records as required.
Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel to resolve construction issues to minimize delays and maximize efficiency to ensure a smoothly run project.
Communicate with responsible parties to ensure that the quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry standards are utilized ensuring that the client’s needs are met
Attend coordination and production meetings to address any issues related to the project.
Establish a culture of continuous improvements by identifying new practices that will contribute to the overall success of the project and company
Maintain close contacts with client’s and their representatives to ensure their overall satisfaction
Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the schedule requirements.

Prerequisites:

3-5 years’ experience in civil and road construction project management
College diploma or equivalent
Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Effective organization and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Class G or equivalent driver’s license
Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
